Welcome to The Digestible Book Club! For our first meeting we have two excellent reading options.
Gulp: Adventures of the Alimentary Canal by Mary Roach is a wild ride down the digestive track. Mary Roach choose unique topics and dive deep to teach us more about them. Other books she has written cover cadavers, sex and space. This books discusses brain chemistry and the twists and turns of food manufacturers power over our dietary habits.
